Your highest PCAT score is used, period. No penalty for multiple attempts, even if your score declines.
GPAs of all schools in the Georgia University System considered equivalent.
Last year, about ten applications received for every spot available. For every ten applications, about two are invited to interview. Interviewees selected based on ranking of pre-Pharmacy coursework GPA and PCAT. GPA is multiplied by 25 (a 3.5 would be 87.5) plus the percentile ranking from the PCAT.
Once in the interview process, qualitative factors such as applicants' extra class work, work experience & volunteer activities are considered.
Admissions data: Generally receive over 1,000 applications for about 125 seats. About 450 applications received as of Nov 11, 2006.
Recent Averages: 3.5+ GPA, 90% PCAT
Lowest GPA accepted: 3.0 (applicant scored 96% on PCAT with solid volunteer activities & work experience)
Lowest PCAT: 72% (applicant had 3.93 GPA)
