About Us
SEA is a group of Faculty and Students at
Gainesville State College who share the common goal
of bringing environmental awareness to our campus
and community.
When and Where We
Meet
We meet on the first and third Monday of each month
at 12:00 noon in room 174 of the Science Building on
the Gainesville Campus of GSC.

"Rumble in the
Jungle" 5K Race & Walk
A cross-country race/walk on forest trails at
Gainesville State College in Oakwood, GA. This
race/walk is held on walking and biking nature
trails. There are NO paved sections of
this trail.

Wetlands Platform
 SEA has now completed the nature
observation pavilion. The pavilion is located along GSC's nature/bike trail. It is intended to be a
peaceful and relaxing spot for students and faculty
to rest or meditate while also providing an
excellent site for an
outdoor classroom.
