The Office for Minority Affairs of
Gainesville State College is excited you are interested in
applying for the LA Waters Scholarship. The
qualifications are as follows, you must:
1. Be a
Second Year Student at Gainesville State College
2. Be a U.S.
citizen and Georgia resident
3. Have filed
Financial Aid papers with Gainesville State College
4. Be
enrolled for a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit
5. Submit two
letters of recommendation from non family members
6. Be in good
standing with the college with a minimum GPA of 2.5
All information must be turned in
simultaneously to the Office for Minority Affairs, located
in the Student Center of Gainesville State College, by
August 9th for the fall semester. If you have any
