The Office of Minority Affairs and Multi Cultural Programs is dedicated to enhancing the College’s climate for diversity, multiculturalism and social justice. We are also a resource for all college departments and individuals seeking to improve the Gainesville State College's climate for diversity.

To carry out this charge, our office seeks to:

  • Enhance awareness of issues that affect people of color.

  • Orient and acclimate minority students to the GSC campus through the Peer Mentoring Program.

  • Promote character development through the Phi Theta Kappa Leadership Workshops.

  • Influence policy that impact people of color.

  • Support, recognize, and advocate for efforts to promote diversity, multiculturalism, and social justice within the campus community.
