The Athens-Clarke County Department of Leisure Services is
responsible
for the planning, development, and operation of parks, trails,
zoo facility,
recreational and athletic facilities, visual and performing art
facilities, natural
resource facilities, and other educational and recreational
programs at Athens-
Clarke County facilities.
ACC Leisure Services offers an array of volunteer opportunities,
including ongoing
activities through the after school programs, ushering for
theatrical productions,
trail guiding, and athletic coaching; as well as special events
such as the Harvest
Festival, Star Spangled Classic, and Zoo Day.
