Description:    Challenged Child is an early intervention program for children with and without disabilities.  We serve children and their families from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.  We provide on-site therapies including occupational, speech, and physical as well as special instruction for our birth to three population.  We have certified teachers to serve our 3 to 5 year old population and contract with many local school systems. 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Times:                         Monday - Friday, 7:30 - 5 pm and some weekends

Volunteer activities:  Work individually with clients, supervise and assist

                                    with group activities, answering phones and doing

                                    paperwork, child care services, and assisting with

                                    special events and celebrations.

                                    April 13 - Benefit ride (11 am)

                                    May - graduation

Training required:        Pre-service orientation to go over policies and

                                     procedures.

                                  Most training done on the job.

                                  Criminal records check is required.

Time commitment:      Flexible.
